Bersih Sabah Thru My Third Eyes

0

Salam Bersih dear people.

Today, a week after demonstration so called ‘duduk bantah” which organized by BERSIH. i dont think i need to explain what is BERSIH but majority do not agree with it. Its okay, we all agree to disagree. I joined BERSIH because i want a fair and clean election but it doesn’t mean that im anti UMNO/BN nor opposition supporter. Clear cut about it. Some people labelled me and others as stupid. Nevermind, i knew what im doing and its your right to labelled me stupid. I just dont care.

Why demo? Dont ask me, but i believed demo was chosen as a last method to send a message to the ruler that Rakyat wants a fair and clean election. Rakyat don’t want to hear “i help you, you help me” or SPRs are UMNO members. You can read more on the internet from Pro and anti BERSIH, and it depends on you either you want to believe it or not.

But some part i did not satisfied. I hate to see PKR, SAPP, and PAS symbols during that demonstration. Second, why should you all shouted “Hancur BN”, “Hancur UMNO” or “Hancur Rosmah”.  Dear opposition, please don’t hijack otherwise other people will blame BERSIH because of you. But some said that there will be no peaceful assembly but thanks to Almighty God, BERSIH Sabah starts and ends peacefully. Some blamed BERSIH caused massive traffic jamm but hey, what about Tour Of Borneo? Judge it by your own buddy. Here are some photos taken during BERSIH Sabah:

8 Bersih demands should not be taken for granted but i believed most of us really want that additional demand which is “Tuntut RCI”. Royal Commission Inquiry for illegal immigrants. June 2006, MP Nazri Aziz said that illegal immigrants not a bigger threat. I want to throw my shoe straight to his face. That’s a problem when non-Sabahan speaks about Sabah. He know nothing. How about MPs from Sabah? Forget about them lah! Because of that, every saturday, i will wear my “Bersih Yellow T-shirt” as a symbol for “Tuntut RCI”.

Congrats Bersih Sabah Committees! You all have done a great job. We managed to show them that we are able to demonstrated peacefully. Don’t say about different races or religions because Sabahan are well known as truly “1Malaysia”. For me, it was a festival.

Hello everyone! How are you? Hope you all doing great.

Some of my friend said that im no longer interest in photography. That is not true because im so busy completing my master’s thesis. Those who study economic sure understand the meaning of opportunity cost. Sacrifice something for something, so decided to stop photography for a while. Received around 5 wedding jobs but all of it i gave to my friend. i love take photos but i hate post process! Went outing especially with Canon Club Sabah but all raw pictures were still in my hardisk. Promise to upload it when im free. But i already upgrade my gears. New baby Canon 60D, 17-40L-F4, and 8mm Fisheye are joining force with 5D in my bag. Dont jealous, that is a symbol of hardworking.

Anwar Ibrahim

Hello everyone. Look like every Malaysian focus on media or any other alternative. Everyone has their own prediction, including me. Why? Because Anwar Ibrahim is a de-facto leader for Pakatan Rakyat, who being accused for sodomy. Alhamdulillah, he acquitted.

Im happy with that result. Not because of him, but for his wife and family. He can lead Pakatan Rakyat in this coming election. Anyone willing to sponsor me a ticket to shoot some pictures? Or any media want to hire me as a part time photographer for this election? So that i can exclude myself from voting. Why? Personally i just don’t care BN or Pakatan Rakyat as long as our economy boost up. I hate corruption and hope each of them try to reduce it. So that all those money can be use to boost up every sectors, including photography.

Hello everyone. It looks like im so busy with mu study, and it cost me four months to update this blog. I will not talk about it because im suffering to finish it right now. By the way, it’s not too late for me to wish you Happy New Year.  Well, its just another year with different numbers. 2012 wishlist? Of course 17-40MM L lens.

My current lens cannot fit me anymore and now im depending on 50MM prime lens. Im sure many people agree that prime lens is a best lens. It will not float, fast, and sharp but i want a wide lens for landscape/seascape photography. Hopefully 2012 will bring some luck for me and you.

Salam Ramadhan everyone! 21st day of fasting, 9 days left before we celebrate Eidulfitri. Taking a rest in photography due to fasting. Im pretty sure everyone of you enjoying fasting especially during “berbuka puasa” with lots of foods. But do you realize that other muslims out there never experience the same fate as us. Suddenly remembered during my visitation to Rumah Anak Yatim Tambunan. Almost cried seriously, until I can not afford to enjoy the food served for us. Please help them. Various channels and ways to help them.

Thank you. Enchek Izaan

Hello everyone. Looks like I really miss my blog as I missing my camera. Yes, I already let go my Sony A200K, the one that brings to the new me. I brought it on 09-04-09 and finally I sell it yesterday. Firstly I want to store it as my memories but my sifu told me that it will become rotten and it will be a waste stuff of mine. Plus, I need to upgrade to my dream camera and it costs me something, which I can use it to marry with other girl. I dont know, I just fall in love into photography more than a girl, and this is serious.

First half with A200K, Im a blind shooter. I just shoot what I want and all of those pictures are meaningless. Maybe I got few nice shoot but its just a “fuluk-shot”. I love to photograph seascapes and I just go and shoot as much as I can. Im so stupid at that time where I dont know exactly what is “exposure”. Really funny when Im thinking about it. But I knew many photographer at that time. Maybe because of my shameless and spirit of photography. Picture below are one of my favourites during my first half with A200K. “Fuluk”, but I really love it.

My real photography’s journey begin at the secondhalf with A200k, specifically when Im started at Studio Pesona. My soul sifu give me a real comment on pictures and that time I just knew and understand about exposures. Plus, he let me experiences many types of genre in photography. Studios, portraiture, macro, still life, weddings, and many more. I do not upload all of that photo because its just for my learing purpose. At studio, Im well known as “bapa ayam” because i do shot many buodoir photos. Im not itch, but I love to see the sensuality with creative lights. But im still seascape’s lover.

Two photos published at DCM makes me more famous. Few photographers said it is nothing but yes, I knew they jelous about it (haha). Hundreds of comment at my flickr also makes them wonder how can I got that comments. There is a simple technique actually but you must figure it yourself as I do. Photo exhibition at 1Borneo makes people adore and hates me as well. That is an opportunity given by god, please dont jelous and say something bad about it.

I already go far with A200k. I went to KL and Semporna with A200k. Yes I really miss my A200k but I need to upgrade as I mention many times. People keep asking me what type of camera I will purchase and I keep playing with them. There are three levels of camera which are entry, mid-range,and professional level. My A200k is entry level and I will jump to professional level. I already experienced many types of camera and I dont want to wasting my money on mid-range camera. Yes it will satisfy me but it will not last longer. I will change it in there future so I decided, i will go for full frame. I will costs me something but its really worth it called long term investment. So wait and see.. :)
